Wat Apson Sawan Worawihan

Wat Absornsawan Worawihan is in PakklongPhasiCharoen, Phasicharoen. Visitors can get to the Temple by Boat. The temple was previously known as Wat Moo and it dates back to the period of Ayutthaya kingdom. It was renovated during the reign of King Rama III.

It is a third-rank royal Temple dating back to the period of Ayutthaya Kingdom and previously known as Wat Mu, since the area used to be a pig farm. Then, it was renovated during the reign of King Rama III and renamed as Wat Apson Sawan. H.M. King Rama III also have given a Chinese-style Buddha (Luang Pho Chan Samor), which used to be in Wat Phra Kaeo, to the temple. Moreover, this temple also has Chinese-style architecture, similar to Wat Ratchaorot. Location: PakklongPhasiCharoen, Phasicharoen, Bangkok. Opening hours: Everyday, 07:30-17:30. Free admission.
