Thailand Knowledge Park or TK Park was established on June 18, 2547 on the 8th floor of Central World Shopping Plaza on Ratchadamri Road, Pathumwan district, Bangkok, with the objective to serve as the source of the knowledge for the future and to promote the reading habits among children and youths. TK park is a living library and different from other libraries. TK Park offers more than a hall of books; the user’s participation is promoted via discussion activities, workshops or mini-theatre. High-speed internet is also available. TK Park has many sections for people of different ages. Kid’s Library, a place where the children can read a book sitting on a cute animal-like seat, e.g. bee-hive seat and a circle seat. TK Park also provides a silent library for those who are looking for a tranquil place to read. Reading Ladder is offered for those who love novels or comics. Music Library is available for those music lovers. Here you can try playing guitar, piano, drum or read a music book and listen to relaxing music. Those who love IT must not miss the IT library. Moreover, on Saturdays and Sundays, retro Thai movie will be shown at mini-theatre with the collaboration of Thai film foundation. TK Park is an ideal place for the holidays. You will get something more than entertainment. TK Park opens from Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Daily fee is 20 Baht/person. Fee of members of 1-25 years of age is 100 Baht and those of more than 25 years of age is 200 Baht.
