Bangkok Aquarium

In the Department of Fisheries, in Kasetsart University, founded according to Thai-Canadian cooperation since 1978.

First founded in 1940, Bangkok Aquarium is a freshwater fish learning centre. Then in 1973, it recieved aids from and cooperated with Canadien government in the renovation of this Aquarium. It has 3 floors and is a home for over hundreds species of Thai and foreign freshwater creatures: 1st floor has the Touch Pool, 2nd floor has rare local Thai fish and foreign freshwater fish, and 3rd floor is an office of the aquarium. Location: Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, Bang Ken campus, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900. Opening hours: Tue-Sun, 10:00-16:00. Admission fees: Adults 20 THB, Children/Students 10 THB.
