Chulalongkorn University Museum Of Natural History

The natural History museum was originally founded from King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s needs in 1872 by Henry Alasbaster. At the beginning, there is no interesting people, so it was done. In 1987 by the cooperation of the scientific community, this museum is a place to learn, research examples of valuable natural resources in Thailand. Some examples of the remains of the original museum have been restored and preserved at this museum. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the opening ceremony on November 25, 1987. Inside, there is animal skeletons such asdugong and ancient fossils. There are also turtles and centipede’s museum rooms, insect museum room, and snail room. It closes on weekends and public holidays.
