Thai Labor Museum

Thai labor museum, located at the old building of the labor union, Makkasan, Ratchatewi district exhibits the history of Thai labor. It separates 7 room by this following. The first room exhibits the labor in Thai old period about the forced labors-slaves. The second shows Thai labor’s next generation labor which is came from China in their living conditions. The third exhibits Thai labor in King Rama V period as Thai important transition period. The forth shows about the labors with the change of government. The sixth shows the 14th October to the economy crisis in Thai, the history of women workers, children workers, truck drivers, and boxers. The last one exhibits the arts of the artists which are labors in many medias such as television, slide, computer, etc. to make the visitors interested and easy to understand. Furthermore, there is the library which consists of many researches concerning the labor and the computer training service for the labor. It closes on Monday to Tuesday and the holidays.
