Thai Philatelic Museum

Thai Philatelic Museum

Remember the days before fax, internet and sms messages when all correspondence was placed in an envelop and taken to the post office where you bought stamps and stuck them in the top right hand corner of the envelop? If it was urgent, you paid a little bit more and the man put an Airmail sticker in the top left hand corner.

This small museum urges you to remember the days before SMS and internet, where people were still writing letters, buying stamps and going to the post office to send messages. Thai Philatelic Museum displays a huge collection of postage stamps from Thailand and elsewhere, some of which are internationally awarded while some of them are rare items exclusively shown here. The Philatelic Museum is the must-see place avid and aspiring stamp collectors as well as those who love them.
