The 2-storey wooden house was built during the reign of King Rama VI and ages more than 100 years old. The house owner, who is a Hua Hin local, had an inspiration to preserve this house, so that younger generations can have an opportunity to see the ancient architecture. After the house renovation completed, the owner decided to displays rare photos of Hua Hin in the old days and lifestyle of people in the community of Hua Hin. It can be stated that this old wooden house is the highlight of Raruek Hua Hin. Furthermore, other interesting artifacts include a model of a lighthouse and a statue of an angler fighting with a big fish, which reflects that Hua Hin was a fishing village. Previously this statue was located in front of the Shrine of Thapthim Goddess.
