Hat Laem Kum

Hat Laem Kum is located at village no. 7, Na Hu Kwang sub-district, 4 kilometers from main road. The north end of the beach is Laem Kum Cape while the south end is the mouth of fresh water canal. The beach does not slope much so the sea level is not so deep. The water is so clean that it is suitable for swimming. The beach is not crowded with the tourists so it is very peaceful and good for relaxing. The beach with the greatest atmosphere is at Laem Kum side. It is like a small gulf with the villager’s fishing boats moored along the beach and people swimming. The 5-kilometer beach is lined with pine trees and coconut trees. There is also a pavilion for the tourists to enjoy the scenery or to have their meals. Hat Laem Kum is such a perfect place for an escape from the chaotic city center of Hua Hin and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The tourists can fully feel the atmosphere and the sound of nature.DirectionsCar: Take Thailand Route 4, then either turn left at the 365th kilometer marker, continue approximately 4 kilometers further and cross the railroad to the beach, or take the turn at 370th kilometer marker, and continue 4 kilometers further by following the road sign.Coach: Take the Bangkok-Bang Saphan coach, get off at Udomsuk Market transport station, then take the motorcycle taxi.Train: Get on at Thon Buri-Lang Suan railway station, and get off at Don-sai railway station, Thap Sakae district, then take the motorcycle taxi.Service car: Take the motor-tricycle from Thap Sakae market. The fare is 50 baht.
