Hat Thang Sai

Hat Thang Sai is situated in the Northern part of Thongchai Mountain. In the past, there was a bungalow village called “Tawee Bungalow,” which is the only bungalow village on the beach that is also known as Hat Kiriwong.Once walking northwards of the beach, you will find many more beautiful beaches such as Hat Kaeo. Hat Thang Sai, then, becomes a walk path to a lot of surrounded beautiful beaches that are no less beautiful than Hat Thang Sai itself. In the previous years, this area was used as an industrial area. Therefore, all of the resorts in the area were moved out of the beach. This resulted in a number of people protesting against the project. At last, the project turned successful. There are very few resorts on the first kilometer marker northwards to Thongchai Mountain and on the surrounded beaches along the 3-kilometer beach.If you come to Hat Thang Sai from Hat Bankrut, the romantic route is recommended. Take the beach road 5 kilometers northwards round Thongchai mountain where Hat Thang Sai road will be found. The tourists can appreciate the view of the off-white beach, sheltered by the lines of coconut trees and pine trees. This is one of the wonderful experiences for those who love white sand and sea breeze.
