Situated about 30km. south of Hua Hin, Pran Buri tourist attractions are Beaches and mangrove forest of Pran Buri Forest Park. Pran Buri beach is 7 km. long. Moreover, since Pran Buri is just a recently-known destination among the tourists and it is not so crowded with people like Cha-am or Hua Hin, Pran Buri is a very popular place for those who really want to relax. At the end of the road in Pak Nam Pran Buri area (Pran Buri Estuary) there is a Prince Chumphon Veterans Memorial Shrine, a highly-revered by the locals and seafarers for a long time.Pran Buri Beach starts from Pak Nam Pran near the Prince Chumphon Veterans Memorial Shrine to the south of Naresuan Baech and Khao Kalok. You can drive a car to see the white sand beach scenery and turquoise sea. Various types of accommodations are provided. On the way you can find varieties of seafood, especially at the beginning of the beach. The hotels and resorts in Pran Buri have their own unique outstanding design. Pran Buri beach also provides a pedestrian bridge as a walkway near the Forest Park Office for tourists, students and those who are interested in mangrove forest condition or wildlife in this mangrove forest. Information boards about the mangrove forest condition or wildlife in this forest are provided along the walkway. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, you can visit Suan Son Pradiphat, Hua Hin and Phra Pathomchedi by the one-day trip train which departs from Bangkok at 06.30 and returns at 19.25. This trip costs 100THB/person.
