Samphran Riverside or “Rose Garden Riverside”, situated in Samphran sub-district, Samphran district, Nakhon Pathom province, is where visitors can experience authentic Thai way of life and learn about local wisdom. Inside you can find flower garden, Thai village, resident, hotel and golf course. Through herbal workshops you can learn about the healthy diet, how to make herbal products, even enjoy herbal spa that we offered only for you. In addition, we also offer Thai cultural show such as Dvaravati classical dance, drum show, martial arts, Dance of the Four Regions, bamboo dance. In 2008, we were awarded the Award of Excellence (Recreation Tourist attractions from 7th Thailand Tourism Awards).The unique Thai village is where you can enjoy elephant show and learn Thai daily activities and aspects of Thai tradition and culture such as music, dance, garland making, fruit sculpture, pottery, martial arts, silk weaving, basketwork, umbrella painting. You can try any activities you would want to.Samphran Riverside also offers an additional herbal workshop station for making inhalers from herbs and flowers picked from the garden. Only 8 person for each class/ 6 classes per day at 10.00/ 11.00/ 13.00/ 14.00/ 15.00/ 16.00 on Saturdays-Sundays and public holidays. 200THB for adult and 150THB for children with height under 100cm. Workshop for making fragrant soap is also an interesting class for visitors. You will learn how to make fragrant soap from coconut oil and, choose your favorite soap mold and fragrance that suits with your nature. They can also purchase some homegrown vegetables and fruits from local farmers in the floating market.Visitors can continue shopping at “Suk Chai” market in front of Samphran Riverside. It is the center of organic products or products from vegetables or fruits from local manufacturer around Samphran Riverside. All products, which most of them are fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits, eggs, Thai sweets and organic Thai rice, are regularly tested for quality. The market is open on Saturdays-Sundays, from 10.00-17.00How to get there?32km. far from Bangkok, Samphran Riverside is a recreation tourist attraction situated by Nakhon Chai Si River and covers an area of 197.5 Rais. By car, if you take Phetkasem Rd., you will see the guidepost on your left-hand side. If you take Pinklao-Nakhon Chaisi Rd., turn left to Phuttamonthon Sai 7 Rd. in order to enter Phetkasem Rd. Samphran Riverside is 6km. away on your left-hand side.By bus, take a bus no. 123 (ordinary bus) from Tha Chang and get off the bus at Samphran elephant show stage and crocodile farm. Or, take a air-conditioned bus (second class) from the Old Bangkok’s Southern Bus Terminal (Bangkok-Aom Yai-Samphran-Nakhon Pathom, Bangkok-Ratchaburi, Bangkok-Bang Li,- Bangkok-Suphan Buri) or take micro-bus no. 12 from Mochit 2 Bus Terminal and get off at the front of Samphran Riverside.
