Nong Chet Sen, Kaem Ling Area Development Royal Initiative Project โครงการพัฒนาพื้นที่แก้มลิงหนองเจ็ดเส้น อันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริ Located in Tambon Hua Phai, Amphoe Mueang, close to the Asian Highway, before reaching Ang Thong city, the Project occupies an area of 337 rai and was royally initiated by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great to be a place for flood relief, reserving water for consumption, raising animals, as well as a breeding center of aquatic animals and a habitat of various species of fowls. On the Auspicious Occasion of King Rama IX the Great’s 84th Birthday Anniversary, 5th December, 2011, Ang Thong province developed Nong Chet Sen to be the 115-year Heaven Park, Ang Thong Nong Chet Sen in honour of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (King Rama 9). The landscape was improved in the theme of the Magical Fantasy Park by presenting the uses of the miracle of plant species to create the displays on land, water and sky. The exhibition areas feature tropical plant species, a fantasy flower yard, a garden of international lotuses and aquatic plant species, art on the water, and various kinds of vegetable tunnels.
