Wat Chula Mani

The Temple was speculated to have been built right after Ayuthaya lost its independence.

Wat Chula Mani is surmised to be built by a Buddhist monk who escaped after the grave battle in 1767 when the capital of Ayutthaya was beaten and occupied by the rival neighbour. Interesting buildings in the Temple are the image hall on a junk-curved base, the Chedi of 38 metres high, which is the largest one in Ang Thong province, and the cruciform wooden pavilion by local carpenters, which is a large and proportionate one.
