Kwai Thai Khao Ngam Conservation Center

Thai Khao-Ngam Buffalo Conservation Center is the place that breeds Thai buffalo to prevent it from extinction. It is also built as a memorial of Thai buffalos that used by Bang Ra Chan people in the war with Myanmar in Ayutthaya period.

Buffalo is the animal that is in part of Thai people lives since in the past. People use it to help with the rice farm. There are local traditions that pay respect to buffalos. In Sing Buri, buffalo is also transport used when Bang Ra Chan people fought the war with Myanmar in Ayutthaya period. Therefore, this center was built in 2000. It is located near Wat Pra norn Chaksri, Amphoe Muang Sing Buri. Visitors can learn and take pictures with Thai buffalo.
