Wat Nam Won

Located in Tambol Bangdiea, four kilometers from provincial center, the Temple includes Rangoon-style pagoda and swan sculptures in front of the church. It is a very popular temple with a large number of visitors.

This Yangon Temple, Wat Namwon, is aged more than a hundred years. It is renowned by its Yangon-style pagoda, swan figures in front of the church and the fish habitat at the entrace of the temple. Moreover the temple is famous for its traditional medicine, especially treatments to bone diseases. The traditional medical practices is still preserved. The temple has important items such as Buddha figures, Thai-style monastery, pavillion and belltower. The temple is open everyday from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
