Banharn-Jamsai Tower

Located in the downtown area on Nang Phim Road, this country’s first and highest view point tower overlooking Chaloem Phatthara Rachini Park allows tourists to enjoy a bird’s eye view over the province at a height of 123.25 metres.

Towering over 123 meters, this building offers visitors bird’s eye views of the nearby Chaloem Phatthara Rachini Park and as well as the town. It is in fact the first and highest viewpoint tower in Thailand, and has four viewpoint decks. Telescopes, snacks and other amenities are available on the decks. In addition, the interior is decorated with murals featuring King Naresuan the Great.The tower is located in the downtown area on Nang Phim Road. It is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10.00 am-7.00 pm, and on weekends and public holidays from 10.00 am-8.30 pm. Ticket prices for adults and children before 6.00 pm are 30 baht and 15 baht respectively, and increase to 40 baht and 20 baht respectively after 6.00 pm. Biotechnological Pest Control CenterLocated near the Suphan Buri Agricultural Promotion and Development Center, the Biotechnologial Pest Control Center is aimed at educating farmers on organic methods of pest-control in order to offer an alternative to chemical treatments. Here, farmers learn to protect their crops by using insects, herbs, and microorganisms. The center comprises a nursery for insects, a hydroponics plant house, and a chemical-free demonstration plot.
