The museum features important Historical evidence of Suphan Buri town since ancient times. Exhibitions feature development of the town from the pre-historical, through Dvaravati, Lop Buri, Ayutthaya, and Rattanakosin periods.

This museum features important Historical artifacts uncovered in Suphan Buri town dating from ancient times. Exhibitions feature the development of the town from the pre-historic era, through Dvaravati, Lop Buri, Ayutthaya, and Rattanakosin eras. Multimedia displays portray the country’s most historically significant royal duel, fought on elephant back. The museum also has exhibits on the province’s ethnic groups as well as important Thai figures. Treasured votive tablets from different temples and popular folk songs are also on display at the museum.The museum is located on Highway 340 in the compound belonging to the Western Art and Cultural Center, Suphan Buri. The National Museum, Suphan Buri, is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 9.00 am-4.00 pm. Admission is 100 baht. For more information, please call 0 3553 5330.
