Krien Kravia Waterfall

Kanchanaburi is an opulent province for beautiful waterfalls. The sizes vary from small, medium to large and Krerng-Kravia is part of the beauty in Kanchanaburi. The waterfall is located within Kao Laem National Park. It is considered a small one. The area nearby offers a breath taking scenery with shady patches. The route to Krerng-Kravia Waterfall is very convenient for it is on the same highway heading to Sangklaburi.Krerng-Kravia Waterfall started off from the small Krerng-Kravia creek, which drifted through layers of limestone and soon later formed a waterfall. The fall is surrounded with nature and tress, besides there are several smaller falls nearby. Krerng-Kravia is an ideal spot for swimming or just simply floating around; a perfect relaxing point through a long road trip. It is common to see, both, locals and visitors setting out a picnic lunch in the area.Krerng-Kravia Waterfall is easy to reach. By car, follow the route 323 from Kanchanaburi to Tong-pa-poom district and once reached kilometer 125 take the right at an intersection, which leads to the district Sangklaburi. Upon arriving at kilometer 32, just before reaching Sangklaburi, the waterfall would be located opposite Krerng-Kravia Guard Office.
