Hat Pha Dai

It is located 12 km. from the Wiang Kaen Municipality Office. It is a viewpoint in the cold season when a breathtaking scene of rapids and sandy lines emerging widelyin the Mekong River can be seen. This beach serves as a border line between Lao PDR. and Thailand. The Mekong River ows into Lao PDR. from this point and runs back to Thailand in Amphoe Chiang Khan, Loei.
