Wat Chan Royal Project Development Centre at Kalayaniwattana Chiang Mai was established after King Rama IX went to visit hill tribes at Wat Chan village.He knew all hill tribes were suffered by many difficulty in there.So,he had royal thought to develop Wat Chan village and the nearby and then set up Wat Chan Royal Project development Centre for create a career and revenue to his population for the better livelihood.Besides This place also be tourist attraction highlight where are fully of natural views of the biggest pine forest in Thailand.In there also have another one beside Wat Chan Royal Project development Centre that is Forest industry.The both are under Royal project responsibility.In winter there will be covered by fog curtain that pleasantly supise all tourists with the beautiful places and views in fornt of them.
