Bungborraped Freshwater Aquarium

Bungborraped Freshwater Aquarium

This 37-meter-by-49-meter Aquarium was built in the shape of a typical Thai barge, used to transport goods such as rice via the great Chao Phraya River. Stepping inside, a lengthy aquarium displays more than 100 species of exotic freshwater tropical fish. The aquarium is also home to rare and beautiful fish, including the spitting archerfish and boldly striped Siamese Tiger Fish. The touch pool is popular with young visitors, housing leopard sharks and sea urchins. The aquarium is located in TambonKwaeoYai, AmphoeMueang. It is open 10.00 am-5.00 pm weekdays (except Wednesdays) and 9.30 am-6.00 pm on weekends and public holidays. Admission is 30 baht for adults and 20 baht for children.
