Rattanakosin Memorial Bridge

Rattanakosin Memorial Bridge or “Sapan Kwaen” was built in 1982 by the Tak Provincial Industry Administration Organization in order to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Rattanakosin Kingdom. The bridge is 2.50 meters wide, 700 meters long with 5 concrete foundations. This bridge used to connect the city of Tak with Tambol Pa Mamuang. In the ancient time, people can travel pass here by motorcycles and bicycles but not anymore. It is now a place for absorbing the view of Ping River with decorated light bulbs on the bridge which is so beautiful especially at night when the stars are shining. This place is a must for the tourists who got a chance to visit Tak province. The Rattanakosin Memorial Bridge is one of the most important historical site of Tak province which welcomes a lot of tourists nowadays.Around the area of this bridge there are many beautiful parks along the Ping River with Kittikhun Building to hold activities. Nowadays, this bridge is used for the Loy Krathong event of Tak province.
