Wat Khao Wong PhrommachanWat Khao Wong Phrommachan is located in Wang Hin Sub-district, Ban Rai District, Uthai Thani Province. The temple is situated in two valleys, Khao Wong and Khao Phrommachan. There are many caves within the area such as Tham Chaeng where the light shines through it, Tham Ngu Lueam where many reticulated pythons (Ngu Lueam) live and Tham Nam which has water all the time (at knee level in the dry season, and at chest level in the rainy season). Moreover, in Tham Phet Tham Phloi, there are stalagmites and stalactites which glitter like jewelry or Phet Phloi when touching the sunlight. A guide is necessary when visiting Tham Kaeo and Tham Phet. On the right, there is an overhanging rock where a small Mondop is situated and a beautiful ordination hall is located on the hillside. On top, tourists can see monkeys and peacocks living in the area of the temple. Wat Khao Wong Phrommachan is a forest temple located in lush nature that those who come to visit Uthai Thani cannot miss to stop by paying respect and enjoying the ambience of nature. The temple opens daily from 8.00 a.m.-16.30 p.m. To get here, from Wang Hin, take the route heading Wat Tham Khao Tapab for 7 kilometers. Then turn left and continue for 1 kilometer.
