Wat Nang Phaya

Nang Phaya Temple is on the middle of the river that holds traffic between Mahathat Temple and Ratchaburana Temple in Phitsanulok. Behind the Ubosot, you will find Phra Nang Phaya Ruenkaew, a beautiful image of the Buddha that resembles the Phra Buddha Chinnarat. There are several old pagodas in the vicinity of Phra Nang Phaya Ruenkaew. The temple is famous for its Phra Nang Phaya amulet in the image of the Buddha seated with a three-headed naga decorated on their eaves.
