Wat Phra Kaew
One of a trio of temples lying on a North-to-South line, WatPhraKaeo holds interesting monuments as well as a Buddha image, estimated to be over 700 years old by the Fine Arts Department. A Chedi in WatPhra Sing (another of the trio of temples) and a stupa in the shape of starfruit in WatPhraKaeo are also impressive sights. In addition, a treasure room has been uncovered, containing earthen jars, Buddha images, pottery, gold sheets and baked-clay votive tablets in the Sukhothai style. The temple is located in TambonNaiMueang, AmphoeMueang, Phetchabun. It is open from 6.00 am-5.00 pm daily.
