Arunothai Beach

Hat Arunothai is a quiet Beach where local fishermen maintain their traditional lifestyle, repairing nets, launching small boats from the beach and bringing in the catch. More fishing activity can be seen at nearby Paknam Thung Tako where larger fishing boats anchor and offload their catches.Near the beach is a shrine to Prince Chumphon. To reach Hat Arunothai, take Highway 4 south from Chumphon, and then turn left to Highway 4096 for 6 kilometers to Mu 1, Amphoe Thung Tako. It is about 60 kilometers from Chumphon city.
