Doi Pha Klong National Park

Doi Pha Klong national park is located in the area of 112,500 rai consisting of mountainous landscape and cliff. It is the origin of many canals that flows into Yom River. It is covered with mixed forest with many beautiful seedlings and rare wild animals that usually evacuates here during winter. The National Park office is around 20 kilometers away from the Prae city. Take the highway 1023 between the 19th-20th kilometre milestone. For those who take the bus, can take the blue bus from Chompoo Ming Market (Amphur Long Bus) and get off at the National Park with 15 THB fee.Inside the national park, there are interesting places such as Maharaj Rock Garden, where there is a group of big rocks in a wild shape in the front part of the national park. Another interesting place is the coral reef mountain located between the 18th and 19th kilometre mile stone. This mountain occurred from the depression of the Earth and the soil erosion which took more than a million years. It is a shape similar to a reef. This nature trail is around 1,100 meters long, a short yet tough trail. The tourists should wear sneakers and should trail during dawn that with a light sunlight. On the way, there is natural air-conditioner which occurred from the moistness just like the feeling of the air from the conditioner. Other interesting tourist attractions inside are Kaeng Luang and Erawan Cave. For those who want to stay overnight, the national park offers 2 houses for rent.
