Governor’s Residence

Governor’s Residence is located on Rueangrat road. The Ranong Governor’s Residence was constructed in the time of Phraya Damrong Sucharit Mahison Phakdi (Kho Su Chiang) after the Chinese Coolie Rebellion in 1877. This residence was declared a national ancient monument by the Fine Arts Department on 18 December, 1996. The fascinating part is the Na Ranong’s Family Ancestors’ Shrine. Besides that, there is also a stone which was engraved with King Rama V’s words.
