Pharadonphap BeachPharadonphap Beach is 12km. far from Chumphon town. Take highway 4119 and take highway 4018 and go on for about 1km. The beach line, shaded with many coconut trees along 3km. distance, continues from PaknamChumphon area. Around the beach area, there are many restaurants and fisherman villages.Generally, most of tourists usually go to the Andaman sea. However, the sea at Aow Thai bay is as beautiful as Andaman sea due to its white sand beach, crystal clear sea water, islands and, especially, the underwater scenery. In addition, many tourist attractions are situated along the beach.Pharadonphap beach is suitable for relaxation and water activities as it has a wide beach and charming scenery. Moreover, tourists can experience the life of fishermen at Pharadonphap beach. Along the beach, there are many seafood restaurants, souvenir shops and accomodations.During the World War II, Japanese troops invaded many areas in Thailand, including Chumphon province causing the fight between two sides. After the fight ended, the peace treaty was made here and thereby the name of the beach “Pharadonphap” which means “brotherhood”.
