Tham Khao Plu Hot Spring

The Tham Khao Plu Hot Springs include three separate hot springs named Auey Ar-ree Than Thip, Amarit Thara and Preuksa Chonlathan. In each spring, hot mineral water rises from the ground at a temperature of 55-56 C. Visitors can enjoy bathing in warm mineral water reputed to cure a variety of illnesses. Bathing fees range from 10 to 160 baht per hour.The hot springs of Tham Khao Plu are located at the foot of a limestone outcrop just short/past of the Chumphon’s southern most district town of Lamae. There are 3 hot spas here at the foot of the mountain slope. In the vicinity, there are also 4 caves with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Wildlife such as squirrels, pig-tailed monkeys and birds of different species are scattered around the area.There are 3 hot springs which named “Auey Ar-ree Than Thip, Amarit Thara and Preuksa Chonlathan”.
