Cage Crafts Center

Cage Crafts Center is located in Baan Sakom, Sakom Sub-District in Moo 2, Baan Na, Baan Na Sub-District, and Hua Din Village, Pa Ching Sub-District, Songkhla Province. Bird cage is an inherited handwork from the ancient time. Bird cages have been made for raising birds at home, decoration, and trade. It is one of folk wisdoms that are worth to preserve since it reflects the culture of the community and local lifestyle of people in Songkhla Province.Bird cage housewife group was established in 1996 to solve the exploitation of middlemen.Later, the group was extended into a saving group and a communal shop. The housewife group in Moo 2, Baan Na, Baan Na Sub-District invented bird cages made from small lamps and sell to visitors in shops in Jana District. There are various sizes of bird cages at affordable prices.
