Ardang-Rawee Islands is around 40 kilometers from the west side of Tarutao Island. It is where the National Park Tarutao is located. On the island, the sand is white and delicate and has a very nice underwater view. Around the island, there are cliffs above the beaches. In the ancient time, the pirates use this island as the hiding location. It is also suitable for a surface diving. There are accommodations and restaurants of the national park to service the tourists. The important locations on Ardang-Rawee Islands are; 1. Pirate Waterfall is a small waterfall with a basin to detain water all year. 2. Chadoe Cliff is the view point on Ardang Island. In the ancient time, it was used as the hiding place of the pirates in order to attack the cargo ship. Nowadays, it is fulfilled with beautiful scenery. It takes around 40 minutes to climb up to this cliff. On the cliff, it is a field and at the point the tourists will see the whole view of the Ardang Island and also the sunrise viewpoint. How to travel to Ardang-Rawee Island? Take the Ardang-Lipe boat at Pakbara pier. The boat leaves Pakbara and will stop at Tarutao National Park. After that, the boat will stop at Lipe Island and Ardang Island which takes around 2 hours (See the Tarutao boat schedule). There will be a long-tailed boat to pick up the tourists and take them to Lipe and Ardang Islands with around THB 40 fee.
