La-Ngu Folk Museum

La Ngu Local museum was founded by Mr.ChaiwatChaikul, who has a big passion on collecting antiques. He started collecting antiques since 1985. After he realized that his antiques are overloaded, he decided to open an antique museum in order to display them at 28 Moo 1, Tambol La Ngu, Amphur La Ngu, Satul province in 1988. La Ngu Local Museum turned popular among the tourists. The antique displays are on the second floor of the museum. There are ancient remains, artifacts, silverwares, kitchenwares etc. The outstanding antique here is the 3-eared pot which is more than 4,000 years old. On the ground floor, there are souvenirs and desserts of TambolKampaeng for sale. Moreover, there is a small factory to show the Batik process and the finished products are also sold here. Apart from being a museum, it is also the centre of publicizing the ancient culture by showing the Thai classical dance to the tourists. The museum is opened daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with THB 20 admission fee for adults and THB 10 admission fee for children and THB 5 for children in uniform.
