Laem Son On

Laem Son On is located on northwest of LaemSamila that is shadywith she oaks. On the peninsulaend is the KromLuangChumphon Monument that allows you to capture the beautiful scenery of Songkla Lake and there is also restaurant around the area. SongklaLake is the only natural lake in Thailand. The length to the north is around 80 kilometers; the widest area is around 20-25 kilometers. SongklaLake is a fresh water lake but is brackishon the connecting part to the sea. On the estuaryof the lake, there are many islands such as Yai Island, See Island, Ha Island, Kaew Island, Mark Island, Rai Island, and Yor Island. Tourists can find boats to the lake at the port area, which is at the back of the Post Office or around the market area; long-tail boats are available all day.
