Phattalung Botanical Garden

Phattalung botanical Garden is one of the most popular eco-friendly sightseeing places of Phattalung. It is located at Moo.4, Pha Nang Tung Sub-district, Khuan Kanoon District. It lies on 24400 acres area on Thalae Noi Non Hunting Area, Reserved forest area Pa Khlong Yuan, and Public Area Thung Sra. Phattalung Botanical Garden was initiated in 1994 with the purpose of preserving the last swamp forest of Phattalung so that it can be left for the new generations to learn more about plants and wildlife.Presently, Phattalung Botanical Garden got an annual budget support from Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment wants to promote this place as a sightseeing place of Phattalung. Also, there is a natural trail built inside the garden with viewpoints all along the way. Besides, parking lots, clean toilets and lodges are provided at the site as well.Through the 930 natural trails, you will get to experience the real swamp forest which is full of Samed Khao trees, Yan Liphao, Yee Nam, Kra Thum, Kura, Sai, Inthanil Nam, Teenped Nam, Thong Lang Nam, Wa, etc. Moreover, visitors can enjoy taking a boat ride through this swamp forest to see how local people live along the river.
