Samui Butterfly Park is located on a seaside hill in Laem NaThian, 3km far from Ban Hua Thanon fisherman village at the south of KoSamui. The park covers an area of 20 Rai and features a botanic garden with a stone garden where Thai plants, herbs and a variety of tropical rain forest plants served as a habitat of the butterflies are collected.The morning is the best time to see the butterflies. Apart from those beautiful butterflies, the park also offers other exhibitions as follows: -Ban Phueng (literally means “Bee House”), a Thai-style wooden house where the exhibition of bee life cycle is displayed in the dark room and you can see a scenic view of the garden from here. -Stone garden -Insect Museum, an exhibition of many rare and easy-to-find local and international insects. -KoAng Wang, located behind Ao Na Thian, has an impressively beautiful sea with an unspoiled coral reef.
