Suan Mokkhapalaram

Suan Mokkhaphalaram is located on Highway 41 at Km 134. Initially, it was named Wat Than Nam Lai. The revered monk master Phutthathat Phikkhu-Buddha dasa-built the temple in 1932 to be a place for retreat for peace and studying Dharma. There is a spiritual entertainment hall comprising paintings of art, poems, Buddhist doctrines and teachings in different sects of Buddhism, scenes of Lord Buddha’s history, and models of carved stones depicting the Lord Buddha’s life in India. The surrounding area is pleasantly shady and is suitable for mind practice and Buddhism study.
