Talay Ban national park is covered with alternating mountain resulting from the underground water. The underground water scours the soil resulting a big whole which turned into caves such as Tone Din Cave, LodPuyu Cave. Moreover, the Talay Ban Swamp occurred from the subsidence of the underground limestone. The highest mountain in this area is the KhaoJeenmountain.The overall weather condition has 2 seasons which are summer and rainy season. Summer starts during February to June and is the hottest during April. Rainy season starts during August to November.The overall forest consists of 90% of wet evergreen forest and the rest are mixed forest, mangrove forest etc. The wild animal consists of more than 400 kinds and more than 100 kinds of aquatic animals.The interesting composition in Talay Ban National Park;1. Talay Ban Swamp is a big swamp with fish and many kinds of aquatic animals. The signature of this swamp is the Glanduler Frog which has a unique sound to attract the visitors to stop and listen to them. Moreover, it is also the location of Bakong Tree, the rare aquatic plant that growsamong other aquatic animals. Around the swamp, there is a wooden bridge and a Sala for the tourists to sit and relax. There is also the route to the nature and the herbal garden near the National Park office.2. Wangpra Garden is located around 8 kilometers before the Talay Ban National Park and take the right road for around 10 kilometers. The overall scenery here is a big field with a valley on the west side. The valley consists of mixed forests and rare animals such as leopard, porcupine, chevrotain, wild rooster etc. and also various kinds of birds suitable for bird watchers. The field in the middle of the valley is suitable for an overnight stay or camping.3. Yaroi Waterfall is around 6 kilometers from Talay Ban National Park which is on the right side of the road. The waterfall consists of 9 levels. It is the most beautiful on the 9th level. The origin of this waterfall comes from the rainforest on the KhaoJeenmountain.4. Ton Din Cave is around 2 kilometers away from the Talay Ban National Park. The cave is around 700 meters long. There are stalagmites and rivers with different kinds of fish in it. There are also bats inside waiting for the tourists to explore.5. Puyu Cave is around 9 kilometers from the Satul city by taking the 4183 highway (Satul-Tammalang). At Tammalang pier, the tourists can contact for boat renting there. It takes around 45 minutes from Tammalang pier to Puyu Cave. Along the way, there are views of mangrove forest and limestone mountain. The tourists can travel from Bangkok to Satul for around 970 kilometers then from Satul take the highway 406 for around 19 kilometers and take the right road to highway 4184 for around 20 kilometers then you will arrive at the National Park.
