Thailand Knowledge Park Yala

Thailand Knowledge Park Yala is located on Sukkayang Road, Muang District of Yala Province. It is the first regional Thailand Knowledge Park after the establishment of TK Park in Bangkok. TK Park Yalais an activity center for southern youth that provides modern innovative media for learning to answer the needs of local people. Located in the white building with modern and lively atmosphere, Thailand Knowledge Park Yala is divided into various zones;The first zone is the Living Library which provides modern information resources along with local books on regional cultures, community and lifestyle for study and research. Tea and coffee corner, internet corner and Muslim prayer room are also available. The next zone is the Kid Room which is a library for kids, featuring various interesting corners of fairy tale and picture books, children’s favorite cartoons and the area for kid activities organized on weekends. Next is the Open Square, a space for organizing activities to help build children’s skills in IT knowledge and art. It is a stage for both youth and adult to show off their abilities. Another interesting zone is the Mini-theatre. It is a cinema room that can accommodate 50 people and shows over 100 movies, documentaries and short films every Saturday and Sunday, 2 p.m. onwards. There is also a Quiet Room for those who need to concentrate on their readings. E-Library providing internet service for 10 baht per hour is also available. Before leaving, stop by the souvenir shop selling cute goods from TK Park such as key chains, pins and etc.
