General Prem Tinsulanonda Statesman Hall of Fame

General Prem Tinsulanonda Statesman Hall of Fame is located inside Prem Tinsulanonda Military Camp, Bua Ngoen Sub-district, Nam Phong District, at the 25th kilometers of Highway No. 2039 (Nam Phong-Kranuan), approximately 50 kilometers away from Khon Kaen town. The place was established in 1998 as “Prem Tinsulanonda Military Camp Foundation” and the hall of fame of General Prem Tinnasulanonda was built afterwards. The name was later changed into “General Prem Tinsulanonda Statesman Hall of Fame Foundation,” having P.S.H.F as its acronym. The purpose of the foundation includes; 1. Present the nation’s history and the achievement of General Prem Tinsulanonda to people of all age, religion and race. 2. Maintain the General Prem Tinsulanonda Statesman Hall of Fame in good condition to be a source of learning for people of all age, religion and race. 3. Offer scholarships to students with good behavior. 4. Cooperate with other non-profit organizations for the good of the public. 5. Not involve in any politics-related activities. This hall of fame was built to honor General Prem Tinsulanonda who has devoted himself for Thai people and received the biggest achievement of his life to become a statesman from His Majesty the King. The inauguration ceremony was organized on August 26, 2000, which was General Prem Tinsulanonda’s 80th birthday. Inside the hall exhibits his biography and achievements for later generations to learn of his deeds for the nation and to have his story to remind themselves to do good things for Thailand. As the General Prem Tinsulanonda would say, every people born in Thailand have to do good deeds for the country to repay what the nation has done for them.
