Phaya Khan Khak Museum

is situated by the Lam Thuan Reservoir. It is a 5-storey giant-toadshaped building. Inside the building is an exhibition, which tells the story of the fight between Phaya Khankhak (Giant Toad) and
Phaya Thaen (God of Isan) that later became an origin of the Rocket Festival (Bun Bang Fai), biological data on species of toads, and Hit Sip Song (twelve Isan merit-making traditions). Visitors can enjoy the view of the city, as well as the Thuan River from the
mouth of the Giant Toad.
