Khao Noi Si Chompu Castle

Registered in 1935 as the national ancient site, Prasat Khao Noi is a khmer-influence religious architecture believed to be built in the 12th century and served as a religious shrine until the 16th century. Most of the structure were ruined except the central prang (khmer-style pagoda). The place is situated on an 80-metre-hill, with 254 steps of stairs leading from the foot to the top. Sandstone lintels and statues found in the tower but are now exhibited at Prachin Buri National Museum.
