Laem Sadet Arboretum

Laem Sadet Arboretum is located in Khlong Khut Sub-district, Tha Mai District, Chanthaburi Province. It is around 25 kilometers from the city center of Tha Mai District. The tourists can take Tha Mai- Ban Mhu Dut route to the arboretum. At Dagong Roundabout, turn right, heading to Laem sadet. Laem sadet Arboretum is on left side approximately 300 meters after Kung Krabaen Bay Royal Development Study Center.Laem Sadet Arboretum is a small-sized botanical garden, attached to the beach. The area is full of both remained and newly-grown ornamental perennial trees which cause a large diversity. As a result, the arboretum is a perfect place for studying about botany and for relaxing in shady environment and peaceful atmosphere.Hat Laem Sadet is located not far from the entrance of Laem Sadet Arboretum and is a place that the tourists never miss visiting and admiring the scenery. Hat Laem Sadet is a small shady beach with full of common ironwood and various types of beach plants. The seawater here is very clear, showing the contrast between blue color and yellow color of the sand. This is such breath-taking scenery worth being taken photograph.In addition, in the vicinity of Laem Sadet Arboretum, there is also the Sixth Cycle Birthday Anniversary Celebration Aquarium, displaying variety of fish in sea water in Kung Krabaen Bay. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.The tourists can stay overnight in the tent and be surrounded among nature with the sound of the wave. There are tents provided for rent for 1-4 people.
