Phra Chuthathut Ratchathan Museum

This place was built in the reign of King Rama V the Great for the King’s summer royal residence.At the front of the palace is the Tha wang beach where there is the Atsadang Bridge stretching into the sea. Next to the beach is the Vadhana Building, a hip roof wooden palace with ginger bread pattern. The area also includesPhongsi Building or an octagonal pavilion, Aphirom Building, Statue of King Rama V the Great, and Wat Atsadangkhanimit on the hilltop built in a mix of Thai and Western architectural style which includes a pool, pond, rocky bell, and jetty. The museum is open daily (except Monday) from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and close at 7.30 p.m. on the weekend and public holidays (However, visitors are able to walk outside the buildings everyday between 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.) No admission fee.
