Phra Suea Mueang Shrine or known as Chao Mae Shrine is located at Phra Pradaeng District, Song Khanong sub-district, Samut Prakan province to the south of the entrance of Phra Pradang Market.It was assumed that Phra Suea Mueang and the original Phra Pradaeng Town of Ayutthaya Period were constructed at the same time but the construction year was unknown. Formerly, Phra Suea Mueang was inside the Thai Navy Unit 3 (Pom Phlaeng Faifa) which was used to perform the ceremony of taking an oath of navies in the navy unit. When the fortification was demolished, the shrine was deteriorated so the official authority and people rebuilt it under the design of the Department of Fine Arts.Inside, there is a gold colored standing Buddha image with two hands straight out forward at the chest level respected by local people. Visitors come here to pay respect every day, especially on the religious festival at the tenth lunar month, which local people and visitors come to worship every year.Travel: From Phra Pradaeng Junction (Suk Sawat Road), turn left to Phra Pradaeng Market.
