Sirindhorn Aquarium (Nongkhai Aquarium)

Is at 112 Mu 7, Chaloem Phra Kiat Road, Tambon Nong Kom Ko, within the area the Nong Khai campus of Khon Kaen University. It was established to correspond to the University’s objective to be a centre for education and research on fishery, collecting the Mekong River’s fish species, of freshwater and marine fish and covers an area of over 3 rai comprising 9 groups and 18 systems of water animals, and a 34 metre fish tunnel with a sloping walkway from the upper floor where marine fish are exhibited down to the lower floor where freshwater fish, native fish, and Mekong River fish are displayed in anatural setting. The aquarium is open on Tuesday-SUNDAYS (closed Mondays) during 9.00 a.m.-04.00 p.m. Admission is 100 Baht for adults and 50 Baht for chidren.
