Than Tip Waterfall
Than Tip waterfall is located at Ban Nern Hin Tuang, Nhong Kaew subdistrict. The waterfall flows on the cascades. Some part of it flows through wide stone field and into the deep pond. People can go down and enjoy the water. There are stone grounds where people can sit and relax. The left side of the river is quite slant. The overall feature of the forest is quite fertile. The atmosphere is best for relaxation.Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), 8th district of the Central region (take care of Nakhon Nayok, Sra Kaew, Pracihn Buri and Chachoeng Sao provinces) records that Prachan Ta Kham district in Prachin Buri is the district where there are the largest numbers of the waterfall in Thailand. There are altogether 17 small and big waterfalls in the district.The 17 waterfalls in the district include Ta Krao waterfall, Salad Dai waterfall and Som Poi waterfall. There are small waterfalls which are naturally beautiful. Than Tip waterfall is a small waterfall which flows on the stone ground through the narrow area before it falls from the 5-meter high cliff. The other waterfalls are Lan Sao Ki waterfall, Lan Hin Tad waterfall, Hew Jakkajan waterfall, Kaeng Krissana waterfall, Sai Kuu waterfall, Tad Hin Yao waterfall, Fong Sabu waterfall, Ta Kon Dam waterfall, Huai Kamin waterfall, Hew Ei Aum waterfall, Hin Tad waterfall, Than Talok waterfall and Banern waterfall.Each waterfall owns its unqie beauty. The overall distance is 16 kilometers. After that, drive along Highway Number 33 until you reach Prachan Takam intersection. Another way is when you reach Nern Hom intersection; turn right into Highway Number 33 until you reach Prachan Takham intersection. Then turn left into Ro Po Cho road and keep going straight until you reach 9th kilometers. You will see Than Tip waterfall then drive for another 9 kilometers.
