Wat Pa Si Thawon Nimit (Si Thawon Nimit Temple)

Situated at Ban Bung Khe, Nong Saeng sub-district, Pak Phli district, Nakhon Nayok province, Wat Pa Si Thawon Nimit is under patronage of Thawara Chittathawaro Wongmalai and is regarded as the number one meditation center of Nakhon Nayok province. Shady, tranquil and surrounded by the hills of Khao Yai National Park, it is ideal for meditation. There are also a hundred of meditation cells provided for monks, novices, laymen, laywomen and other people. In addition, in the area of 560,000 m2, there is Mueang Sahakon (Cooperative City), a royal project under her royal highness princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn initiated by the King’s Remark. Her Royal Highness princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited here on February 23, 1994 and commissioned the construction of Khlong Si Siad reservoir.
