Located near Queen Kirikit Park has 6.7 acres. This is a royal project by Queen Sirikit. Her majesty recognizes the importance of children educational activities. Children museum Bangkok was first builded in 2001 use for showing exhibition and outdoor court is for activities. The museum construction finished in 2001 and first opened on 17th August 2001 in celebration of Queen Sirikit 60th birthday. Soon after the museum receive a renovation and modernize it under the concept “Learning for Young Creative” which is focusing Method of Learning and strong motivation to suit the age of target children Children Museum is consisting of 2 buildings. First building is Tor Tawan bulding, a three storey building in a hemicycle shape, the ground floor is an empty hall while 1st-3rd floor is suitable for children from 7-12 years old 1st floor includes Creative Space, Junior Thai Kitchen, Creative Science and Dino Detective. On the 2nd floor includes, Our Friends, Incredible Me, Amazing Vision and inventor club. On the 3rd floor includes, Kids play house, Build Our City and Wonder. Second Building is Sai Rung Building is a 2 storey building which has area suitable from children from 0-6 years old, important time for children brains and muscles to develop. Moreover there is an outdoor area where children can do activities in a safe environment. On the first floor includes Big Backyard and Creative Library. On second floor includes Rainbow Town, Jungle Adventure and Water Play. Opens on Tuesday-Sunday from 10:00 am-04:00 pm.
