In addition to beautiful seas, excellent sea food restaurants, walking street, and shopping malls that belong to Huahin, another place worth visiting is The Artists’ House (Baan Silpin), Tambon Hin Lek Fai in the west of Hua Hin Forest. The House has been considered the cultural tourist attraction of the province since 2007 as it has collected a large number of art works such as watercolor paintings, oil paintings, sculptures etc. Many nationally-regarded touring art exhibitions are always held here. Tourists can come and appreciate the art works by highly regarded 19 artists a.k.a. Hua Hin Artists, buy favorite ones back home or sit and sip some coffee in the shops in original Thai style and in the welcome shade of the trees. Miscellaneous products such as clothes, accessories, and souvenir postcards are available.The Artists’ House was established by Khun Chumpon Donsakul, an art collector and Tawee Kesangarm , an artist. Both of them share the same passion for arts and they both appreciate the works of arts. Consequently, they created this place to open up opportunities for other people to admire the great works of art. At present, the Hua Hin Artists locate their simple studio in the house, producing quality work for the art gallery in collaboration with not only amateur but also professional artists sending their work to the house.
